‍“Toon Raccoon” Convention Display

‍Hello! Thank you for considering me as an exhibitor for your event. I’ve been around for awhile now, attending conventions and selling commissions, merchandise, and printed books and comics for over thirty years (previously under the name Cooner, and then under the banner Toon Raccoon!), and have built a strong base of fans and regulars who look forward to meeting me on their trip through the dealer’s den.

‍For 2026 I’ve been rebranding my event presence as Toon Raccoon Publications, with an emphasis on selling my own comic books and print stories, as well as merchandise related to those books: stickers, prints, and acrylic standees of popular characters. I’ll continue to offer laminated con badge pre-orders, as well as at-con sketch commissions for attendees, albeit in a more limited capacity.

‍Toon Raccoon Publications Display for 2026

‍This mock-up shows the plan for the new comics-focused display. Two display towers on either side of the table with a banner hanging overhead between them, framing the booth. Facing outward on either side will be hanging banners promoting current comic projects in progress (or, possibly, dakimakuri …?) In front of the left tower is a tiered rack displaying self-published floppy comics and zines attendees can flip through; just above and behind them are displayed available stickers featuring characters from the comics. The right tower displays available square-bound books. Below those are displayed a few featured mini-prints of comic characters, and a small crate allows attendees to flip through more mini-prints to see what is available. And finally, in the center of the table, we have acrylic standees of popular characters from the comics and other such specialty merchandise. (Click on the image for an expanded view.)

‍Merchandise

‍This year I’ll be putting a focus on printed comics and comics-related merchandise. Recent books include two printed volumes of my weekly online comic strip My Bigger Boyfriend, and two Coyena Comics issues featuring my family of coyote-hyena hybrids and their shenanigans. Coming up this year are Coyena Comics #3 (March ’26) and Coyena Comics #4 (July ’26) plus a Coyena Comics Color Special. I’m also planning on developing and printing a series of low-cost Keen Zines to offer books at a range of price points for attendees.

‍I’ll also be offering merchandise related to the comics. I’ll be adding to my ever-growing selection of stickers, launch a series of mini-prints, and new for this year, my first acrylic standees of some of my more popular characters.

‍Below you will find additional images of earlier convention displays that this new one has evolved from; and also sample photos of merchandise and badges and sketches i’ve done for attendees in the past. There are also a few photos of themed image assets I’ve done for conventions. Click any thumbnail to view up-close. And any questions, don’t hesitate to contact me!
